Thank you for everyone who attended DELTAS meeting today at Fieldfisher hosted by Mabel Harvey , it was another engaging session, were we were able to listen to the diversity culture of Fieldfisher & to reflect on the initiative that was undertaken with the students from Acland Burghley School in November 2018 who DELTAS is supporting thanks to the fantastic work of one of our founding members Thereza Snyman.
Additionally , we are able to confirm that DELTAS will be undertaking a collective summer placement across firms in which the schedule is being confirmed in order to offer opportunities to the students at Acland Burghley School as well as Moulsham High School whom we are starting to engage with the help of ambassadors Mabel Harvey and Thereza Snyman.
Looking at the steps we are taking I am pleased to confirm that a follow up feedback survey was taken with the school and 100% of 18 students whom joined us for the trip, felt that it encouraged them to think more about a future career in STEM. But more work needs to be done. Notes will be distributed to the panel & attendees today incl. discussion on summer placements within a group of firms & suppliers including iManage.
